The Inter-University Sports Tournament 2026 brought together universities from across the region for an unforgettable celebration of athletic talent, teamwork, and healthy competition. Among the tough field of competitors, Northrise University’s student-athletes stood out, delivering powerful performances across nine different sports disciplines.
Our athletes brought home top honors in multiple events:
-
Champions: 1st Place in Badminton and Ladies’ Basketball.
-
Undefeated: The Ladies’ Volleyball team won all three of their tournament matches.
-
Runners-Up: 2nd Place in Men’s Basketball and Men’s Volleyball.
-
Podium Finishers: 3rd Place in Football, Netball, and Chess.
-
Competitors: 5th Place in Pool/Pocket-Billiards.
Beyond the trophies, the tournament served as a vital platform for our students to connect with peers from other institutions, build lasting relationships, and exemplify the true spirit of sportsmanship.
