Birds are counted from the day they arrive but are not sellable until they mature. Record losses against the batch as they happen — on the maturity date the survivors become sellable stock automatically.

The buyer deposits into the University account and brings the proof of payment to the Accounts Office. Verify it against the bank, issue a receipt, then confirm it here. Goods cannot be released until you confirm.

Example for eggs: rate 1, name "egg trays" → each tray brought in is K1 off the order.
