The 22nd of February, 2019 was not an ordinary day for Northrise University. The University held it first Corporate Trainings Graduation Ceremony where 10 executives from Epiroc Zambia Limited, formerly Atlas Copco Zambia Limited, graduated following a series of Management and Leadership Training.
Beautiful drapes of yellow and black with freshly picked flowers and smiling graduates made the colorful ambiance of the University auditorium. Part of this training meant some days away from home as these trainees camped in Ndola for each series to receive their training.
Dr. Zimba gave his congratulatory remarks and charged the graduates using Hebrews 12:1-4 to run the race with endurance and to continue looking to God as they journey on in leadership and life in general.
The Country Manager for Epiroc, Mr. Patrick Chanda praised the training stating that there is need for training in organizations as a way of building capacity to take companies forward.
As the event came to an end, smiles denoting success were all you could see on the graduates faces. “I feel an overwhelming sense of accomplishments after completing this training. I learnt a lot….and it has definitely opened the doors to better management tactics.” were the word of Mr. Fred Mwanza as he expressed his joys.
