Thanksgiving is a time to reflect upon all the goodness the Lord provides. We are particularly, thankful for the friends who have be touched by our story to help us build Northrise University over the years. The growth experienced by the University can only be described as phenomenal. In our seven years of operations, we have acquired and built a town campus, business building, student dormitories, farm offices, chicken run and abattoir and planted a banana plantation. Our initial vision was to cater for the Zambian student population but God blessed us with students from Ghana, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The student exchange program has commenced with Dordt College in the United States and we expect to receive students from orphanages in Liberia soon. We have also more than doubled our academic programs since the beginning of this year and envisage introducing more degrees to cater for a growing diversity of educational requirements in Zambia and the wider African region.
Considering all the blessings the Lord has given Northrise University, we can truly give thanks during this period. Our sponsors, supporters, partners and friends have been used by the Lord to make all these developments happen. As you enjoy Thanksgiving, we will continue to pray for you and ask the Lord to bless you in every sense during this festive period.
