Capital Campaign Advancing the Vision

As we celebrate 10 years since the founding of Northrise University, this year also marks the beginning of an exciting and important next step in advancing the vision of empowering Zambians, one student at a time. In a few short weeks, we will announce our 5 year plan to raise the funds needed to complete the university campus facilities on the land that was generously granted to Northrise many years ago.

Today, Northrise holds classes for 600+ students from its 5 story building, Caravelle House, in downtown Ndola. Outside the city,  on the 640 acres granted to Northrise for its main campus, the university began the vision by building one 50+ student dormitory building, one classroom block facility, the NuCare  health clinic and  faculty duplex housing.  Northrise Farm also operates on 400 acres adjacent to the main campus land.

Entering the next and final phase of completing the campus facilities will position the university to more than triple its annual student enrollment from 600 students to 2,000. We will be able to offer dormitory space for up to 500 students to live, provide on-campus housing for dozens of our faculty and staff, conduct sports programs on basketball and football fields, and eventually witness over 1500 people from the community attending events in the Convocation Hall.

Keep your eyes open in the coming weeks for more details regarding this exciting roll-out of our plans as we move forward with boldness and humility, trusting and honoring the Lord in obedience to the calling and vision He gave Moffat and Doreen over 26 years ago.
