BOT APPLICATION INTRODUCTION
I am delighted to learn that you are considering the opportunity to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Northrise University Initiative. Your thoughtful and prayerful consideration is greatly appreciated. I am sincerely grateful for your support and eagerly look forward to the prospect of working alongside you in this new capacity.
For over 30 years, Doreen and I have been blessed with the presence of friends who have loved, supported, and guided us throughout this incredible journey since God first planted the vision of Northrise in our hearts. The NUI Board of Trustees was established with the purpose of providing developmental and financial assistance to Northrise University, tailored to each Trustee's desired level of involvement. By funding the U.S. operations, the Board of Trustees ensures that 100% of all funds raised for scholarships and capital projects are directly allocated to Northrise University in Zambia.
There has never been a more thrilling time to be part of Northrise University and witness the divine work unfolding in Zambia and beyond. Lives are being transformed on a daily basis, and with over 1,000 students and nearly 700 graduates, the future holds even greater promise.
As an NUI Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our vision of "Empowering the people of Zambia, one student at a time." We firmly believe that this vision will continue to expand and eventually extend beyond Zambia, reaching neighboring countries and other parts of Africa. Your leadership and influence will enable us, based on your availability and desired level of engagement, to act as a friend and advocate by sharing your personal Northrise story with others and encouraging them to consider joining the Northrise family.
By joining the Board of Trustees, you will become an integral part of an extraordinary chapter in Northrise University's history. Together with other dedicated men and women of faith, we will strive to:
- Establish a solid foundation for future growth, sustainability, and a lasting legacy that will impact future generations.
- Expand our main campus to accommodate over 2,000 students.
- Empower individuals and effect transformation on a spiritual, economic, and cultural level, not only within the nation but also beyond.
I urge you to carefully review the enclosed information as you seek guidance in making your decision to join the Board of Trustees. Please be assured that I will continue to uphold you in prayer and remain available to address any inquiries you may have.
Warm regards,
Moffat Zimba
President
