Northrise University was awarded a generous grant from Canyon Institute Arizona. The grant provides support for the future growth and long-term sustainability of the University by providing funds for the expansion of Northrise Farms. Northrise University was one of 19 grant recipients for 2015 and was one of three organizations highlighted at the 2015 Christian Vision Award Dinner on April 30, 2015 in Phoenix. The funds will be used specifically to plant an additional 16 acres of bananas and increase the size of our cattle herd.
This grant is evidence of the great potential in continuing to share the Northrise story and what God is doing in Zambia. It is a reflection of the power of relationships, shared values and vision centered in Christ that transcends economic, social, cultural and geographic boundaries. It is a reminder that the best is yet to come.
The Northrise University family is grateful for the trust, friendship, recognition and generosity of Canyon Institute and its Board of Trustees.
