Day Six of Impact Ndola 2013. The day began with words of encouragement and prayer by Dr. Zimba and then three Northrise students, Chileshe, Vanessa, and Bwalya, led us in worship.
Chapel Bill Beck, one of the early supporters of Northrise University and friend of Moffat and Doreen spoke on glorious gospel from Romans 1:16-17 “16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.'”
Pastor’s Conference Pastors from all around the Ndola region came to Ndola Baptist Church for the three-and-a-half day conference. Today’s teaching was done by Phillip DeCourcy of Kindred Community Church.
Visit to Arthur Davidson Children’s Hospital While the media team was out covering events of the day, we made a stop at the Children’s Hospital to drop off some greatly needed supplies. On a Visioning Trip earlier this summer, one member from Wyoming heard of the need for physiotherapy equipment, had it delivered to the Northrise office in Southern California, and then it was had carried and delivered by office staff Linda Patton and Kelly Beck.
Editor’s note. More to come. Keep checking back.
