Every volunteer dressed in a bright orange shirt, partaking in a group picture. Demonstrating the oneness of service as they look forward towards impacting the people of Ndola.
Today the focus of the Media Team was the men’s and women’s conferences. Here we see different people from all walks of life, serving and learning from each other. Each knowing that no matter how good and adequate one may seem, we all seek help. Click here to read the story on the Northrise University Blog.
Words from the volunteers and participants
Francis, Bachelor of Finance and Accounting, 2nd Year Northrise Student – Northrise has taught me about reaching out to others through this program…A lesson learned from Northrise that I cannot get anywhere.
Erial, Baylor School of Nursing Student volunteer about the children they are serving -They have taught me to love life.
Katie, Baylor School of Nursing Student volunteer – I have been most impacted by the joy and strength of the children. This has been tremendously exciting. I want these children to know that they are worthy of being cared for, and they should seek medical help as soon as possible.
Mugaba Daiud, Men’s Conference Participant – “It’s my third time attending the Impact Ndola Men’s Conference. I am really encouraged by what is going on here. The conversations we have are amazing and up-lifting. I would like to urge Northrise University to keep up the good work.” Mugabe Daiud has been helped a lot in his ministry through the Impact Ndola Men’s Conferences. He is looking forward to more of Impact and the Men’s Conference.
