Northrise University Installs New Chancellor and Senior Leadership in Historic Ceremony

Ndola, Zambia — February 28, 2026 — Northrise University marked a historic milestone on February 28, 2026, with the official installation of its new Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and Deputy Vice Chancellor. The ceremony brought together university leaders, faculty, students, alumni, and distinguished guests from Zambia and abroad to celebrate a new chapter in the institution’s leadership and mission.

The installation ceremony was both an academic and spiritual celebration, reflecting Northrise University’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and faith-based leadership. A Ceremony Rooted in Tradition and Vision

Serving as Master of Ceremony, Mr. Steven Sikobela welcomed attendees and set the tone for the day’s proceedings. The ceremony commenced with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Zimba, followed by the singing of the Zambian national anthem by the NU Choir, whose powerful performance unified the gathering in a moment of national pride.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Jeff Goble, Chair of the Northrise University Board of Regents, emphasized that the installation represented more than a ceremonial tradition. Instead, he described it as a defining moment in Northrise’s journey toward greater impact, leadership, and global recognition.

The highlight of the ceremony was the robing of Northrise University’s new leadership team:
