A team of 56 Baylor University student and staff arrived in Ndola yesterday at 11:00AM and were welcomed by Northrise students and staff. Later in the day, Dr. Zimba (Northrise University President) shared the history and vision of Northrise. After hearing about where Northrise comes from and where it is headed, the Baylor Bears toured the main campus. They were excited to see the Banana fields and couldn’t help but take a bit of the sweet Northrise Banana. Northrise student and staff look forward to a week characterized by sports clinics with NU students, kids from Mapalo and George Community School, painting, tours, seminars and fellowship.
