Children of Arise Life Ministries had something to smile about this past month. This ministry was blessed to receive backpacks. Casey Page, a member of Grace Fellowship Church led the members of GFC in donating funds to purchase backpacks (school bags) as well as other teaching and learning aids.
Casey visited Zambia for the first time in 2007. She joyfully looked forward to the trip and the opportunity to meet the children at ALM in one Ndola’s poorer compounds, Mushili on her second visit to Zambia in August this year. When she finally met these children of ALM, she was touched by these kids who are so vulnerable, yet cheerful and full of life. The kids could not hide their joy when they were given backpacks. They were ecstatic; they loved the gifts so much! Their faces echoed nothing but a big thank you!
