“Basketball is alive and well in Zambia! My nephew, Case Blinn, along with several Northrise students, led the first ever NU basketball camp. Camp grew each day as the children invited their friends. Several Northrise staff and instructors sent their kids, too. Their skills improved markedly – the last two days, even the littlest kids were sinking shots.

Being out on the main campus was wonderful – the cool breeze, beautiful vistas, and new buildings. We took the kids on a tour (all future Northrise University students) – touring the medical clinic, the dormitory, thenew business building — and then to the farm — corn, cows, chickens, and bananas. Wow! The staff at the farm told us that on the day they are harvested, all the bananas are sold out!

I taught a business seminar in the evenings. The students were capable, bright, and engaging. We discussed the state of many businesses today, analyzed their processes, and investigated ways to operate in this global economy.”
