Advancing the Vision

Phase II of Advancing the Vision will kick off in the first quarter of 2018 and will include funding and construction of a new 128 student dormitory, a new agriculture and engineering classroom building with labs, and two new faculty duplexes. This phase of new construction will allow Northrise to increase student residency capacity to over 200 students, add new high quality academic programs in agriculture and engineering, and recruit quality faculty by providing on campus housing. Total funding to complete Phase II construction is $3.4 million.

We are grateful for your faithful generosity to Northrise University. With your investment in our university campus you are creating a foundation of hope and opportunity that will live on for generations. Your prayers and support are transforming the nation of Zambia, one student at a time, and we are forever thankful.

Campus Center and Infrastructure Update

The Campus Center has been open for over a year and stands as a testimony of Northrise University’s commitment to the city of Ndola, the Copperbelt Region and the nation of Zambia. Students, faculty and staff are grateful for your generous support to create such an amazing facility at the center of the Northrise University campus.

Current Construction and Immediate Priorities

Construction projects currently in progress include completion of the main entrance building and the related road work to connect the campus to the Kitwe-Ndola Dual Carriage Highway. This work is planned to be completed by November before rainy season begins.

Funding of $60,000 is still needed to complete roof and other external repairs on the existing dormitory caused by the heavy rain and wind storm last November.

Immediate Needs

We are beginning our efforts to finish 2017 strong and looking forward to new Phase II construction beginning on campus in March 2018. Here is a list of immediate needs we are currently in the process of raising funding for:

As always, we are grateful for your prayers and support and would ask for you to consider helping us to address these needs and keep our campus facilities in excellent condition for our students and staff.
