Four Northrise University Students Jet off To Pursue Agriculture and Engineering Programs on a Fully Funded Scholarship.

Building on the strong foundation of a relationship started in 2010, Northrise University and Dordt College announced on June 8, 2017 the development of the Northrise University Scholarship Program at Dordt College. Through this life changing program, qualified Northrise students will attend Dordt College to complete an Agriculture or Engineering degree.

Upon successful completion of their undergraduate degrees, students will proceed to obtain a master’s degree in either the agriculture or engineering discipline with a view to return to Zambia and join the faculty of Northrise University while they continue to pursue their doctoral degrees under the staff development programme.

As a Christ‐centered university, Northrise is committed to equipping its students to become skilled and relevant professionals, ministers and leaders who will have a lasting impact in their communities. By providing learning opportunities that enhance critical thinking, discipline, personal responsibility, character development, and sacrifice, students are inspired to achieve excellence and lay‐hold of their future. This Christ‐centered institution is more than a university — it is a family, a help to those in need, and above all, a community dedicated to changing a nation.

We wish our new ambassadors all the best as they take a new journey towards empowerment.
