We are excited to announce that on 4th February 2022, Northrise University signed an MoU with the Ndola Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This partnership comes at no better time than this when the University is seeking to grow its impact in industry.

The partnership will bring many benefits to both partners including collaboration on various skills and development programs to strengthen human intellectual capital, to promote industry-academia linkages that promote the knowledge economy concept, to conduct joint research, host symposiums, conferences, and other events that raise conscientious awareness in the business and academic fraternity about emerging issues affecting industry and the general economy in order to mobilize resources for the development of Ndola and surrounding regions.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Paul Chisunka, the Chairman of the Ndola Chamber of Commerce and Industry shared his excitement and commended Northrise for establishing and sustaining a Christ-centered university because industry would have a deficient capital base of graduates who do not possess values and character. “We want to see captains of industry that have character, that have knowledge and are supported by competent skills”, he said.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Zimba shared that the heart of Northrise is to train, to serve, and to reach out to as many companies… “Our desire is to see Ndola revived so that we can trade amongst ourselves and empower one another…” he said.

So much lies ahead as this partnership takes root. We anticipate a lot of good to come out of it!
