Student Life – Praise and Worship Night

Ruth is thankful that Northrise is a Christ-centered university. Northrise aims to firmly ground all students in biblical truth and knowledge. Praise Night, organized by the Northrise Student Council, is a highlight of the semester for many students, including Ruth. Ruth shares that it is an awesome night because the community joins together to praise and worship our Almighty Creator.

Ruth’s relationship with Christ continues to grow through daily devotions before each class and weekly chapel. The preaching of the Word of God and worship music reminds Ruth that Christians ought to live according to God’s standards. While at Northrise, she draws closer to God and focuses on who he calls her to be.

“My prayer request for this semester is that God will help me complete the program that I started. May he grant me heavenly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Above all, help me in my spiritual life to grow in faith. And to be the person God wants me to be.”
