On Saturday, September 25th, 68 shooters in Houston, Texas came together for the first annual Northrise Shootout. Sporting Clays is a growing sport in the US, kindly referred to as “golf with a shotgun.” Shooters teamed up in foursomes, and prizes were awarded to the top shooter in each of four classes as well as to the top scoring team. It was a fun morning full of great BBQ, exciting raffle prizes, precision shooting and a heartfelt testimony from Dr. Moffat Zimba.
